Until recently, however, most of the toys I had reviewed were meant for older children. LeapFrog is a company that has a great understanding of both how kids learn and how kids have fun and that understanding means that my kids love LeapFrog toys as much as I do. The toys come with two AA batteries, and there are two levels of volume.I have reviewed a few of the wonderful educational toys from LeapFrog since I first started blogging and I haven’t been disappointed yet. After the initial dialogue prompt plays, you can use your other hand to tap your child’s skin (nose, arm, face, etc.) to continue playing the music. To play in multiplayer mode, each person can touch one of the pup’s Interactive Smarty Paws. The instructions say that this activity can be played solo or in multiplayer mode. Hold both of the pup’s paws and give one a squeeze to play the notes to a song. Kids can also press the Interactive Smarty Paws to hear music play. As the pups talk and sing, the bone on their collars lights up. Press it to hear Scout talk about your child’s favorite things, feeling words, and explore mindfulness activities. The star button on the pup’s right ear is the Activity button. Press it twice for 10 minutes and three times for 15 minutes. When pressed, the pup will play five minutes of bedtime music. While the pup’s left foot is the power button, its right foot is the lullaby button.

Once the pup is ready to play, press the music note on its ear to hear songs featuring your child’s name and favorite things.
